A detective is an unnamed minor character in the first season. He is played by guest star Thorbjørn Hummel. He is working with Detective Chief Inspectors Sarah Lund and Jan Meyer investigating the murder of Nanna Birk Larsen.
Biography[]
He goes into Lund's office while she is speaking to bereaved parents Theis Birk Larsen and Pernille Birk Larsen. He leaves the door ajar allowing them to see crime scene photos of Nanna. Lund berates him for his carelessness. Later that day he is working at the Birk Larsen home and Pernille pressures him into revealing details about her daughters death despite his protests that she should speak to Lund.[1] Lund has him transferred off the case for breaking protocol and distressing the family.[2]
